Show and tell
I decided to go for a walk by myself a few days ago (NOV4). It was a sunny day, and the weather was/is unusually warm for a Saskatchewan November, and I decided to take advantage of it. My intention was to just enjoy the walk, without looking for any...
Here today, Gone tomorrow
Living on an acreage with lots of trees, brings lots of tree maintanence. It's been a job I have been doing for two summers now, trimming back the dead fall, and most likely inadvertently dismantling sitting areas that Sasquatch could sit down comfor...
Does silence really speak volumes?
Is summer really over? I am sitting here almost dumbfounded at how quickly time seems to pass by and I wonder if the creatures that make their home in the woods would ever have any sense of time and wonder about it and do they think of me, like I thi...
Going on a bear hunt... Not!
Black bears are a common thing around our area, and after living on this beautiful property for over two years, my husband, Paul finally saw what neighbours have been telling us to keep an eye out for.As described to me, it was a full sized black bea...
A baggie full of popcorn
The other night my husband and I decided to relax around our fire pit, and as we sat there in silence soaking up the heat and becoming mesmerized by the hypnotic flames, something out of the corner of my eye caught my attention. I turned quickly only...
Dem bones
I have to appologize for being so "cryptic" in my posts as of late. I honestly had to put down this side of my life for a bit in order to regroup and help myself make sense of it all. (story is coming)My family and I are closer to the truth, but what...

I just found your site this morning, and have read it with great interest! You make some pretty good comments, and I appreciate your attention to detail. (just one correction, thier is spelled their, OK?)
I was interested in your Wikipedia description of infrasound. Of all the websites I have checked out, no one gave a description of what it actually was. So, thank you! Now I know.
I also have to appreciate Mug's reactions to what is going on at your home. Isn't it neat how they can show us things we cannot see with our own eyes?? You have to give them big credit for that. I watch my dogs also. Animals have their own unique way of looking at things.
One thing that bothers me, though is what happened here a few weeks ago. I was reading, when all of a sudden I heard some heavy footfalls headed for my house. I stopped reading to listen, and they went right past my house, rather close, and on toward the park. Whoever was running, they were big! And extremely fast. 5 seconds, and they were gone, and the whole area was eerily silent for another half hour.
The part that was upsetting was that no one else heard these footsteps but me.
A week later, Ritta, my Sasquath/ Itan friend told me that he had been chasing down a man who intended to harm me, and he did catch the man. His wry comment was that another shooter bit the dust. He is starting to talk a lot like me!
So, life goes on. Keep up the good work, I enjoy reading your blog.
