Scrivener's Retreat Handmade Ferret Toys
http://scrivenersretreat.blogspot.com
I make stuffed ferret toys that resemble meat, prey, and ferrets. I have a full-time day job, but my dream is to be able to sell enough Scrivener's Retreat toys to do that full-time instead.
You may be wondering what the heck a scrivener is. It all started when I read "Bartleby, the Scrivener" by Herman Melville in college. It's a short story, and I just love the name Bartleby. It sounds dignified to me. I decided I would have a pet with that name, and my first ferret became the famous Bartleby.

Disney Monster Hits, Cartoon Music Videos of the 80s
MTV was born the year before I was. However, we only caught channels 2-13 when I was little. We never had Comedy Central, USA, MTV, or anything of interest in cable networks until 2000 when my dad got a dish, and my mother got extended basic cable on...
Recycling Is So Cool
I made these last night. Aren't they the best? You might not be able to tell in this picture, but the patterned fleece used is Make It Green, a 30% recycled plastic & 70% recycled polyfil material. I stuffed these with fabric scraps I had, and vo...
