The Search for the Ultimate Athlete seeks to bring out the best athlete from
around the world—male or female, team sport or individual performer. We are
looking to settle the argument but at the same time bring more attention than
ever to the debate about the best athlete in the world. We believe the SFUA will
spark a new breed of multi-sport athletes—a whole new category of sport.
The SFUA is committed to growing a sport—a 20 event test of skill,
determination and talent, on a worldwide stage for years to come. The initial
setting for the competition is in the Pacific Northwest which provides a
challenging, yet convenient location to hold this athletic competition. The
environment, coupled with a convergence of athletes from around the world
creates a festival atmosphere—a spectacle of athletic skill and emotion.
The SFUA will be a compelling story that the public—especially TV viewers
will want to follow and participate in the debate online. We will not only
provide a glimpse of the intense competition, we will provide insight into what
motivates SFUA competitors and the conflicts and challenges they face as they
train and compete against the world’s best athletes.
The SFUA holds a firm commitment to not only identifying pure athletic
excellence, but also furthering philanthropic and charitable causes. SFUA
partners with charities as well as its sponsors to share the rewards and
resources of its work.
