The winter here in the UK seems to have been going on for ever! Dogs get covered in mud or soaked every time they go out for exercise. Not to mention the dangers of frozen stretches of water in ponds and canals especially - let's hope it is soon over...

Richard LaplanteSocialzing your puppy from a young age with children and strange noises etc is a great training tool and one that should not be overlooked. Training your dog in obdedience is being socially responsible.

There is no substitute for positive behaviour reinforcement... if you love your pet, you will spend time and money learning how to train him or her properly.
And if you don't love your pet that much, why have a pet? Owning a pet of any type brings with a responsibility for its best welfare!
