In the mid-sixties I had a Rhodesian friend who had a job that required him to travel all over Asia. He did so with two large suitcases, containing slot cars and track. (Took up more room that his clothes.) We drank many beers while playing with his little cars, in North Thailand.
I didn't know the slots were still around. Nice blog.
