Foreign travel is exotic but doesn't happen all that frequently so I've come to covet the American open road.
Solo Road Trip is all about celebrating the adventurer in all of us, helping others discover the lost art of solitude, encouraging people to pry themselves from the easy chair & move one step out of their comfort zone, and exploring the unknown for at least 2 nights away from home.

Tammie writes possibly the best travel blog out there, being an advocate of solo road tripping. She's sharp, witty and shares her insights about a variety of topics related to her travels, could be bear poop or the best chocolates she's found for us. The photographs she's taken here at home and while backpacking with her son in China are second to none. Awesome! She's been likened to Ansel Adams. Go see for yourself....you won't be disappointed!
