My name is Kevin Senne. I have worked in the Online Marketing and Technology space for the last 11 years. I have been heavily involved in Email Marketing from the beginning (of my career and the Email Marketing Industry). I founded the Email Team at Travelocity.com in 1999. When I started, it was just me sleeping under a desk and “blasting” out tens of millions of email. I grew up quite a bit at Travelocity, building what I still think is one of the most relevant email programs out there. Three years ago, I left Travelocity to work in the ESP (Email Service Provider) space for Premiere Global Services. I brought a unique perspective to the ESP world from the client side.
I have had a great opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of the business. I have been fortunate to work with our sales, development, operations, marketing, and business development teams. I have been able to share my industry knowledge with the world by writing for many publications, blogging, and socializing on Facebook and Twitter.
I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with others. Starting this online community was a natural progression for me. I have many interests and passions. I’m an avid reader, as you’ll see by my reviews. It’s very rare you’ll see fiction; I’m all about non-fiction. If you have recommendations, feel free to share them. I’m always looking for something new to read. I’m also a big fan of sports, which is why you’ll see plenty of sports references, and the latest (and not so latest) athletic shoes that catch my eye. Of course, we’ll talk about Email Marketing, Social Media trends, and generally anything from the digital world.
