Spongecell has created two 'event promoting' widgets that spread the word about any given agenda. The software powering the widgets allows you to track any action that a user takes, whether setting a reminder by email or text message, forwarding to a friend, viewing the event page, adding to Facebook or MySpace, or adding to their calendar. This information lets you learn more about your users, what they like, and ultimately, who is interested in your events.
The platform is marketing agnostic; users can pull the information from the widget and seamlessly bringing it into their own lives. If they like texting, they can send an SMS message about the event. If they like sharing on Facebook, with one click they can do just that and let their friends/colleagues know about the event. All you have to do is register and Spongecell pretty much does the work for you from there.
