Spotlight on Investments and Markets
http://evd101.wordpress.com
In this blog the author, Managing Director of an implemented consuling firm catering to a clientele of mainly European institutional investors, is sharing his insights on markets and investments with the general public. Complicated matters are explained in an easy way, without loosing objectivity or becoming simplifications. Topics are top-down with a focus on portfolio diversification over various asset classes, countries and investment styles. The author will also not spare providers of solutions. Some are good, some are bad, some were good and turn bad and some were bad and turn good. Normally there is a lot of talk about how to SELECT managers, funds or stocks. But at least as important is how to DE-SELECT and remove non-performing components from your portfolio. The author has worked together with Noble Prize laureate Dr Markowitz for many years.
