Welcome to SpotOnLI and thank you for visiting this site. My name is Christine Gerani and I will be your editor for today. So what is this new innovative fresh Long Island site you are looking at. This is a site where photos and blogs dominate giving everyday folks a chance to write or share their favorite blog. The Spotlight is on you.

We are very foodie friendly cause damn it, we gotta eat! We love music and local bands, cause damn it we gotta dance! Whether it’s wine tasing or apple picking we want to know about it.

So what makes us different then the other local mags, newspapers, and websites that Long Island has to offer. Do you have to ask?

So grab a glass of wine (a LI Wine of course) and read our first issue. Let us know what you think and I thank you for stopping by.

This is one of my favorite blogs. It is almost a daily read for me. I would have never thought one person could create such a professional site and maintain it on her own. But she does, with a little help from others, but mainly it's all Christine. I particularly enjoy the Interviews. You can probably tell I am a friend, but our friendship came second to me finding and enjoying her blog first. Our friendship was an added a bonus,a cherry on top.

If you live in Long Island, this is a must read. If you don't live in Long Island you wish you did, READ IT. Great blog, bookmark it, like I did.

I enjoyed reading ‘Laid off’.
Highlighting the social aspect of current economic downturn.
Sad but amusing generating the many stories we share.
Excellent
