Would you recommend CTRL? I had a horrible experience with Proactiv, I have very sensitive skin.

I have been using CTRL for three months now and it works great. In the first week my skin dried out a little and I had a slight burning sensation with it (no worse than those alcohol pads though). Now my skin is more clear and much healthier. I have tried all of the big name acne products and this one is better by far.

Some things were mentioned on this thread about the connection between gender and acne and whether or not there was a gender-specific acne treatment.
Well I heard from a few friends today and read in some other blogs that there is a brand new acne treatment called CTRL that IS gender-specific. Hey, there's been some talk here about gender and acne. I just heard about a brand new acne treatment that is gender-specific. It's called CTRL.

I have also read a few articles that discussed how the differences of a girl's skin and a guy's skin can affect things like acne and other skin conditions.
Also, I've been hearing a lot about these ingredients called Parabens. Apperently, they're used in a lot of acne products but are really bad for you. Europe even banned them!

I have also come across this kind of information. I have read a lot about the skin of males being much thicker than girls.
I have read that guys skin is 25 percent more thick than girls.
Also, the hormones of guys make more oil and clog the pores.

I've been hearing a lot lately that gender could have a significant impact on acne. From what I understand, the differences in the skin and hormones of males and females suggest that we may require gender specific treatments.
