Natalie BergmanEemaBri's recommendation that we generate more blog resources on alternative treatments for cancer is an excellent one. Utilizing the power of the internet to provide more resources to people facing cancer is excellent - the only cautionary note being "caveat emptor" the buyer needs to beware and be a critical consumer of information on the internet to ensure that they aren't pursuing snake-oil salesmen and the like.
EemaBriI am responding to C.J.'s comment as one of the co-founders of Surviving Cancer Whole, and as a breast cancer survivor. There are alternative treatments out there, and depending on where you live the scope of services vary. Clearly we should start a stream on the site of blogs devoted just to this issue! Perhaps you can share any information you have and/or get on a blog at Surviving Cancer Whole also--- it does take a community with a variety of experiences to help each other through this!! Some treatments that I found helpful as adjuncts to my traditional treatment were: accupuncture, shiatzu, nutritional counseling, and lots of prayer and healing services at my synagogue. Please keep us in the loop of your experience, and let's see what we can come up with!!!
C.J. ArmstrongI enjoyed your blog and plan to follow it. I need more info.on Alternative treatments being that modern medicine is almost the end of the road for me. (doctors are about to give up on me). Thanks for giving me hope.
