This is my breast cancer survivor story. Initially therapeutic, I soon realized how telling my story inspired so many in creating breast cancer awareness.

Sylvie,
Thanks for putting this blog together. The more info out there about breast cancer the better. This is a subject that I feel very passionately about as I face it everyday.
Please also take a moment to consider posting something about breast reconstruction surgery.
Unfortunately many women are made to feel that reconstruction is an "after thought"... a cosmetic procedure for the vain. This could not be further from the truth. Breast reconstruction is not a cosmetic procedure... it is every woman's right.
Best wishes to you and please keep posting!
