Thanks for the nice words.
Unfortunately I don't know much about Karabige. This dish is from Aleppo and I am from Damascus. I know loads of Aleppan dishes but not this one. As far as I know, it is some kind of sweet pastry/pie but not sure what kind of dough or stuffing is used in it.
I will keep it in mind and if I come across a recipe I will publish on my blog.
