By winning the Hamburg Open by defeating Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal has explicilty shown that he is able to dominate whilst playing on a clay court, yet again. He is the defending champion of the French Open, a tournment played on a clay court, and he also has the longest number of wins on a clay court, therefore displaying that he is indeed in good shape to play in the French Open. Thus, by defeating the worlds number one player in a clay court tournament, Nadal has a positive chance to keep his title.
