What sounds better "greatest hits" or "gold"?
Scary Mommy put together her "best of" list for 2009, picking her favorite posts from each month. I don't want to be too much of a copy cat, so I'll call mine "greatest hits," or maybe even "gold" if I'm feeling particularly full of myself...Anyway -...

Kate,
I was looking for your blog about Eleanor's decorative tendencies to show my husband...and read the vomit piece which is just classic! I am an old friend of your Mother-in-laws and in our day we described her variety of individualness as "Ing Things"! Did she ever tell you about
making plastic flowers? In retrospect, I'm not sure if it was the way they looked as much as the fumes created in making them that created the appeal. Anyway, we were together last fall in Austin for a wedding and she bought these pieces of jewelry (crone necklaces)from a street vendor who described her as having "no fear of gear." Perhaps a new tag line for little Eleanor. Glad to hear she has passes on her tendencies. Love reading your blog.
