Posted on Thursday July 3rd, 2008 at 02:06 in , jordan

Farah, who has been a reader of The Black Iris for some time now, started her own blog early last month. I am astonished to see that in about 30 days, this very young woman has become quite the issues blogger, which is why I’m plugging her blog...

  • Movie Review | Hancock

Posted on Wednesday July 2nd, 2008 at 04:41 in

Last night I got to see the early screening of Hancock at Grand Cinema and it was worth staying up late to catch it. The reviews have not been great but in a slew of comic book films that see a well-established hero with his own fan base, go up again...

  • Still Waiting On The World To Change

Hanna Gargour and Mia Rose pretty much butcher one of my favorite songs; but, on the bright side, the message remains in tact. h/t: farah addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.black-iris.com%2F2008%2F07%2F01%2Fstill-waiting-on-the-world-to-change%...

I want to share my duped experience with Al-Rai newspaper, who cheated our company. I paid for a quarter-page color advertisement that came out black and white!! After issuing a complaint, the supposed head person of Al-Rai would not give ANY compensation and implied "screw off event after acknowleding their profound mistake. Their own agent told me that many advertisers were cheated like this, not just us. There is no customer service. No sense of equaliy and respect. Al-Rai is too just "above" us.

Al-Rai - I hope you fall and eat the same dirt in which you shoved others down.
