A very much needed and informative site!
I applaud efforts to objectively inform the public, especially about medical conditions and available assistance in covering the cost necessary treatment, including litigation where appropriate and needed.
Hopefully, that is the purpose of your site ... indeed my wife has stage 4 breast cancer and we are certainly empathetic to the plight of cancer victims and need for information and support groups.
However, it is concerning that the ads on your site may well suggest a different story. I looked at but one of the two ... it showed several cases of their clients receiving multi-million dollar settlements and their legal staff receiving millions as well.
If punitive damages are appropriate, then should they not then be distributed equally among all who were exposed rather than as winfalls to those who became victims and filed suit? To my way of thinking, those found guilty of wrongful actions should be criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law ... their crimes are against us all ... there should be no financial winfall for the victims and the compensation to the lawyers should be based on something other than the level of punitive damages.
We all need good legal representation on occasion and they deserve to be reasonably compensated for their efforts but not for thee purpose of gaining winfall settlements for the few at the expense of the many ... with the money they're so making is almost as much as baseball players!
