The College Girl Inquiries

The College Girl Inquiries

http://theinquirer.wordpress.com

College can turn you into one walking eyebag. When all the stress and deadlines get to me, I figure blogging is the best way to release some of the steam. At least now, I'm a walking--and blogging--eyebag.

My blog is basically about the things taking up that space in my brain that isn't processing economics, marketing, exams, papers, orals, philosophy or equations. Usual topics would include: dance, art, fashion, environment, social responsibility, business, writing, general hobbies, community service, and cool stuff on the web. It all starts with a question a day, and that gets the ball rolling. The entry usually ends up far away from what I usually ask in the beginning, but that makes the inquiry process even more interesting.

Do more creative ads like these really encourage people to buy the product? Or do they just smile, take a picture of the ad, thinking, ‘Heck, this is cool!’, post it on a blog and forget about the main topic: the product? Manila is one bi...

Do the dominant colors in one’s wardrobe reflect that individual’s personality? If that’s the case, then I must be downright boring. I’ve got a closetful of blacks, whites, dark blues and greys. That’s basically it. I t...

Did you hear about Earth Hour 2008? More importantly, did you participate? Anybody who hasn’t heard about it yet is even more in the dark than the thousands of people who switched off their lights last March 29, 8:00-9:00 PM in a show of ...

  • Paint me neon

Posted on Monday March 31st, 2008 at 07:18 in graphic design, cool stuff, March

My room right now is a mumbo jumbo of flamingo pink, lime green, pale yellow and electric blue. It seriously looks like an aftermath of an attack of pre-schoolers with highlighters. Its been like this for almost three years now– And I love it. ...

Mush. That’s what my heart turns into when I look at this little baby. Too bad he isn’t mine. So just recently, I determinedly embarked on a Maltese Hunt on the Web. And, unless anybody has $600 dollars and a kind heart, then...
