The Diary Project
http://diary-project.blogspot.com/
The Diary Project is a year long art project by British artist, Kirsty Hall.
Every day in 2007 I am drawing on an envelope, placing something secret inside and posting it to myself before my midnight deadline. When these envelopes return to me they are scanned and blogged.
The envelopes will then be kept unopened until they can be exhibited as a whole artwork, at which point members of the public will be able to open the letters and investigate the contents. Once the letters have been opened, the contents will also be displayed on the Diary Project blog.

Drawn from life, this is one of the beautiful thistles that Camilla bought me for my birthday. She said that she got them because they reminded her of the Diary Project drawings, so it seemed only right for them to become a part of it.Posted: 11.53pm...

I had the sudden urge to draw in coloured pen. It was something I hadn't done for a while so I had to hunt the house for my set of fine-nibbed coloured pens. I swear my art materials hide themselves when I'm not looking!Posted: 11.05pm on 26.12.07Ret...
