Welcome to The Divine Wind Blog- The Kamakaze (Japanese term for divine winds) have protected Japan and its unique culture from foreign invasions and imperialization since the beginning of time. The intended reader is someone who is interested in Japan in general as well as Globalization, Internationalization and Foreign Affairs. The roots of this blog were of an idle mind which took place my final year in Japan, 2006-2007. With the day-to-day experiences of my life in Japan being the focus, now this blog focuses on Japan in general through the American media. General issues of globalization, internationalization and foreign affairs will also be touched on as well as cross-culture consulting and culture shock/reverse culture shock.
