Living in Europe over 20 years I have found one of my original opinions when first arriving still stands. The Europeans are cheap! It wasn't just in there idea of how much to Tip a Waiter, but in many other aspects of Social Life. Compared to those of the North American I found the Europeans to be cheapoâ??s in...
Those little Extras in a Hotel room
Charging Per Person for a Room
Ketchup in Mac Donalds
Chipping in to pay your part of the gas
Knowing when it is your turn to buy around of drinks
Buy backs from a Bar
Charging Extra for a piece of Bread with your diner in a Restaurant
No Butter on the Table
Charge you for a glass of water on the table
Toilet paper that can clean the Rust off a Pipe with one wipe.
A Bottle of shampoo on your Birthday from your wife
Radio Station and other media that Give away a Car for one Day!
Winning a vacation and discovering it is for the Rainy Season not to forget the Baggage transport, Hotel Room, Food, Car, and Tax are not included.
Buying a Dog for $800,-- with out his shoots

Then there is Skimping on Material
New Tires with a 1/4 inch of Tread, They never heard of all season with a 100,000 mile guaranty
Leaving the Fruit out of the Fruit Yogurt
Buy a car and charging you extra for anything they can. Floor Mats, Electric Windows, Right side Mirror, etc. If they could the Standards would be the car without Tires, Windows, Doors, and/or Motor.
And by saying "if you don't like then why don't you leave" is not a good arguement for being Cheap!
