when a soul splits it only splits into two equal parts, these parts will not be together till the end of time.These perfect parts are of male and female energies, they are each others souls mate, also known as twin flame. But the term twin flame is a rather new concept.
A soul match there is more than one and matches the soul perfectly, yet it will be together in the same life time to the end of time. This is what people refer to soul mateS. This is not a soul mate but have been in the same group of like minded people since before the beginning of time and space.
