http://www.thelampnyc.org/news/
This is the blog for The LAMP (Learning About Multimedia Project), a nonprofit based in New York with the goal of helping young people, parents and teachers navigate the world of new media. Whether it's helping parents understand the what/why/how of what their kids are doing online, training teachers to integrate media into their classrooms or helping young people make better choices online, the LAMP is dedicated to an environment of media literacy. This is done through workshops, speaking engagements and public events, all of which are offered free to participants.
