Need advise,
On 12/23/08, Paypal called by phone informing me of unusual charges to my paypal account, I told agent that I knew nothing about the transactions, and please stop money transfer, was informed that it couldn't be stopped, and had to be stopped at my bank, Bank of America.I rushed to my bank, the transaction had not reached my account, but was told it couldn't be stopped. I withdrew all my money, leaving a zero balance, since it was Christmas eve, and needed my funds. On the 24 th,Bank of America paid the transaction anyway, though my account was zero. And added bank charges, well over $300.Though I filed identy theft , fraud alerts, changed my credit cards, still killed any joy I might have had for Christmas. The case probably take time to resolve. Can I legally charge any of the above with inconvienence of destroying my Christmas and probaby damage my credit. The transactions were not authorized by me, nor do I have any knowledge about it.
Thanks.
