Mine is a life wasted on, I mean devoted to film. I truly am obsessed with movies. Not just one particular genre but all genres. I commentate on film and on the film industry. I also do a lot of interviews with independent filmmakers like Effie T. Brown, Richard Janes, Lloyd Kaufman and others.

I try to keep things fun and entertaining but occasionally I go off on a ran. I am passionate about film and the films I love. If it is crap I will call it out but if it is bad movie making done right then there is a chance I will love it.

Not only do I watch movies but I also have a hand in making them. I work with 2 independent production companies as a creative consultant, co-writer, and producer. I also do creative consultant work for other small indie filmmakers. As you can see I am not a critic but some one that is putting his money his mouth is.

Ive been trying to think of this movie for wquite some time now...maybe you could help? i saw half of it a long time ago but missed the ending...so irritating. its about an older man who works at a carnival as a maintenance worker but is either telling a story or just remembering his childhood in the town he lives in still. one part i remember very vividly was a part when he was wbout 18 and his younger brother got his jacket stolen by some bullies and all his dad told him was "Fix it." and he went and found the bullies, got the jacket back but got his butt kicked. lol I would love to finish watching this movie. help in any way would be appreciated.

Hello all! I wanted to introduce a new contest/feature at my site called "Why We Watch." I'm hoping to get to the bottom of why we like to watch movies, and find a reader/movie fan who can offer their thoughts and opinions on why we watch and love movies so much.
