The Political Rant

http://www.thepoliticalrant.com

This site discusses politics, world issues, the economy, and culture. Here you get real, down to earth opinions. And you are free to share your own opinions...
Generally, we are disgruntled college students who are sick and tired of the mainstream media’s uninspired, non-critical, quasi-intellectual analysis of the world. We reject the notion that today’s press has the capacity to report freely and honestly on issues that are of the utmost importance. In this media-saturated environment, it is unacceptable that it has become so difficult to critically question our reflexive media system, let alone the political, economic, cultural issues of the day. This is why we decided to start our blog. We try to align ourselves not with the New York Times, nor with Fox News, but rather, present ourselves as independent intellectuals, concerned with increasingly dangerous levels of societal ignorance.

  • Why I hate Gap

Gosha I wanted to bitch about the Gap for a long time now. I just never thought that that company would get to me so much. See, this whole 21st century thing - it's about identity and individuality, right? Or at least on the surface. At first glance,...
