The Port Eliot Experience
http://porteliotexperience.blogspot.com/
The Source and www.profwriting.com have teamed up to provide a programme of wordy entertainment at the Port Eliot Literary Festival between 24-26 July. We will be sharing a tent with the lovely Telltales crew and providing an eclectic programme of performances from our DJs and contributors.
The aim is to establish the Cornish literary/music scene as a real presence and showcase Cornish writing/performance talent to a new audience
What's going on?
The tent will house Telltales Volume IX: At Dawn, At Dusk. Telltales performers will perform two sets a day, one at 11am and one at 8pm with themes of At Dawn and At Dusk accordingly.
The Source/Profwriting will run a series of events in between the Telltales shows - one on Friday at around 5pm, one on Saturday between roughly 2pm and 5pm.
There will also be a Wordsmith’s open mic session on Sunday (compared by Jane Pugh) at which anyone who wants to can come an perform a 3-5 minute reading of….well…..anything!
