In many of the world's societies oral sex has been considered taboo and there have been tribal laws as well as state-sanctioned laws that make oral sex punishable. But if we go back in history to the Roman and Greek civilizations, we find that oral sex was accepted. The various temple sculptures in India show acts that involve oral sex, by the woman on the man and the man on the woman. So obviously it must have been acceptable. The classic sex manuals from the East also show how oral sex is to be performed.
The problem is that oral sex is viewed and perhaps rightly so, that it is a form of submission and control. This is more so in the case of woman who performs oral sex on the man. This is also the case where a man performs orals sex on another man. But these are societal attitudes and there is usually a historical reason for this rationale.
So what is Oral sex? Oral sex can mean either Fellatio or Cunnilingus. Let's have a little grammar lesson now. It great what Latin can teach a person. All my colleagues at Cambridge or one the great colleges like Balliol knew Latin and used to impress the girls and the girls did one better by learning the love poems of Sappho and scaring all the guys!
