I wish I owned satin nightwear of Arnel triacetate and nylon with elbow-length sleeves, self-tie sash, contrast trim, two waist pockets and an elastic waistband.  Le Sigh.

I don’t remember the rest of the list any more (since I never bothered to write it down) but since then I have managed to go to Paris twice and make it to a They Might Be Giants live show.  But the R.E.M. concert is still eluding me.  Maybe someday I’ll actually make it to a concert.  But until then I satisfy my R.E.M. fixation with music videos.

The RollerBlog family has returned from our Great American RoadTrip of 2008, all safe and sound and remarkably still talking to each other.  Life is slowly returning back to normal here in the RollerBlog househould except… I seem to be running low on blog ideas.

So I thought I’d turn to you for suggestions.  Are there any seventies or eighties topics that you’d like to see covered in the RollerBlog?  If so please leave a comment below.

Right now we are somewhere in the American Southwest, rolling around from state to state in my parents’ mini-van. We are seeing the sights, sleeping in tents, making s’mores, listening to various books on CD while we travel, and hopefully getting along famously.

I have scheduled some posts (such as this one) to magically appear while I am gone so hopefully you won’t miss me too much But I probably won’t be responding to comments and for those of you in the Entrecard community I won’t be dropping cards or approving advertisements until I return.

Wonder Woman is pretty awesome. As is David Bowie, Flash Gordon, David Hasselhoff, and Neil Diamond.

But none of these fine folks are as awesome as the awesomest one of all. One who simply exudes awesomitude. One who puts others to shame with his sheer awesomeness.

Word on the street has it that Tron 2 is now in the works. A surprise teaser for the sequel (dubbed TR2N) was unveiled at Comic Con this year.

Alas, I was not at Comic Con so I did not see it. Perhaps next year.
