The Sad Elephant

The Sad Elephant is a new political blog for a new political animal.
While the name is derived from the conservative side of the things, the goal of this blog is to provide a diversified portfolio of viewpoints from all over the political spectrum. In short, while we may not always agree, more than one side will be heard.
Here you will find daily responses to current events, some personal commentary, differing viewpoints from contributors, and interviews. While this blog has a foundation in conservatism, opposing opinions and beliefs are welcomed and encouraged. As this country was founded on the ability to hold different views, I see no reason not to maintain that theme on this website; healthy debate should be cultivated. It’s what makes politics great.
