The Stephen's Green Preservation Society

http://SGPSDublin.com

You can stop reading in a Professor Farnsworth voice now. Welcome, one and all, to the Stephen's Green Preservation Society. Our aim? To BLOW YOUR MIND.

Well, not really. What we hope to achieve with this blog is to give people out there some ideas about things to do in Dublin when you're alive. As opposed to things to do in Denver...well, you get the idea. Gigs, markets, exhibitions, good pubs - nowhere is safe from our gruesome grip of tyranny. Or our recommendations. To be honest, we're just going to do whatever takes our fancy on any given day. We're considering a Hat of the Week section. But people dig hats right?

Have you ever been sitting at home, bored, in front of the telly, questioning in what terrible direction your life is going and why you aren't out and LIVING LIFE?!!??! No? Well, us neither. But every so often we were looking for something to do in Dublin and found that the interweb didn't provide the easy answers that were promised to us by Google. So, being unemployed and bored, we decided to start this blog. We've since become employed but now we're even more bored - so we decided to carry on regardless. Yeah, we miss the dole. We're terrible, lazy people.

We're hoping that you find The Stephen's Green Preservation Society a reasonably entertaining and interesting blog. Actually, we're hoping you find it to be unbelievably OMGLOLS!!! and the most fascinating thing you've ever seen. But we'll settle for less. And you should too.

Thanks for reading. Now return to your lives and await further instructions.

They say that all that grizzles is not gold...don't they? Well, Grizzly Bear may just be the exception to prove that rule. If that rule ever existed in the first place. Well, we know it didn't... but the point stands. We've just witnessed a very ...

Today we realised that there is a common theme running through the names of bands we've been listening to lately. We were puzzled when we realised that the theme is animals. Whether it's Fleet Foxes, Arctic Monkeys, Animal Collective or Modest Mouse ...
