I've been married once before...it wasn't a bad marriage. We were just too young. I have a teenage daughter and I'm 99.9% certain that I'm done having children. I love the man I'm with, but don't see marriage as a necessity to prove our commitment. The subject comes up every now and again because he feels differently. He wouldn't feel like our relationship was complete if we didn't marry...

I haven't completely taken marriage off the table, but it's teetering off...so...
maybe a commitment ceremony could be our alternative...I wonder if he'd roll his eyes at the suggestion or feel like it's a good compromise...
we'll just have to see...=)
