I love the man I'm with, but don't see marriage as a necessity to prove our commitment. The subject comes up every now and again because he feels differently. I haven't completely taken marriage off the table, but it's teetering off...so...
maybe a commitment ceremony could be our alternative...I wonder if he'd roll his eyes at the suggestion or feel like it's a good compromise...
