What is it about choosing wall paint that somehow ends up seeming like a deep, painful decision akin to Kennedy's pressures in Cuban Missile Crisis? I mean, it's just paint after all. Color. Something to slap on the walls, right? And yet anyone who de...

TimewarpHey great blog, I love thrifting or straight up finding cool stuff on the street!
Felicia D.Wow! My obsession is antiquing. I get up at ungodly hours to get in line first at the openings of the antique shows at Brimfield and elsewhere. I go to estate sales and yard sales wherever I am. Attend every auction within 50 miles of my home and watch every episode of “the roadshow.” I’m even spending my winter vacation this year on this crazy antiquing trip to Europe. The group goes to antiques shows in three countries and hardly stops to play tourist. Check out their website: http://www.EuropeAntiqueTrip.com If it wasn’t for my boyfriend who shares the same affliction I wouldn’t have a life at all. At least we keep the antique collection in one special room (museum) and the rest of the house looks like we actually decorated it. Felicia
Parivaat WongmarsGood!!!
Robin EastonWell, this is certainly LONG over due!! LOL I love your site. Good for you, girl. This site is so cool for anyone who loves thrift stores, being creative, doing creative projects and helping others. Besides, THRIFT STORE ROMANTIC is just one amazing woman. This is a fun site. We should all get on the thrift store bandwagon because it not only helps those in need when we buy at a Goodwill or Salvation Army store but it recycles perfectly good items. It's a smart move for the planet all around.

euricaI love the writing style of the blog. Actually there is nothing I did not enjoy. Amazing what you can do with little money and talent. Do not forget the talent all of you visiting this blog. I used to visit shop sales, 2nd hand shops, garages the lot and end up with something that looked like a 2nd hand shop.
Kathryn CleveMy best friend and I hit yard sales, garage sales and rummage sales every Saturday morning (usually about a dozen or more here in the Tampa area) and we have completely decorated our apartment, set up my office and found DVDs and CDs to entertain us, for very little money. Thanks for your blog.
Kathy

Andrea BaumgartnerI love what you did with your porch! I have some old vintage sheets that are really beautiful, and I couldn't get rid of, but they don't match anything in our bedrooms. I can't wait to try hanging them in our sunroom like you did with your porch. Great idea :)
Laura BrittainWhat a fun blog! I *love* the idea of being thrifty and creative. I know what you mean about the feeling of anticipation at the possibilities. Lots of good information here. I will definitely be back!
Pat KennellyI'll be back this is such a fun blog! and with some of my favorite things. The vintage over-the-top lamp posting was great! thanks.
Theresa HallWhat a wonderful web log site you have. I have seen your avatar around but cannot believe I hadn't visited you before this. I love your site and how organized it is. I also enjoy vintage and victorian but my husband is a no frills kind of man, so I have to settle for looking at all the feminine and dainty things. That furniture you re-finished. Is that a purple red? That is my favorite color and you have given me an idea for our bedroom furniture. I'm absolutely hooked on HGTV and I'm sure I'll be back to visit you now I know what you have up your sleeves. Please stop by any time you're free.
P.S. I didn't see a place after your posts to leave a comment. Did I miss it? Take care!
