thinking of raising the permit price to 60 pounds is ludicrous it seems to me the people who suggesting this are all top river orientated let us all remember that the river quality although improving is not in my opinion worth 60 hard earned pounds from a bottom river point of veiw were the majority of our catches are used sanitary towel ond most of the north of the citys over flow so maybe the red wine and cheezy biscuit brigade should take a moment to considerthat there are those who aint as privalaged as to b blessed with a milgavie or bearsden post code and that the upper reaches maybe out of reach for some of lower river members.
