Hello fellow American Veterans, My name is John Mello and I am a Vietnam vet, and spent four years in the USCG, as well. I love my country and that is why I gave up eight years of my life for our government to help keep the piece. I am 59 years old and suffering from degenerative disc disease or triple D. I is a painful and common disease that a lot of folks get when they reach there 50s or so.I was living and going to the Tampa Fl. Va and was set up and put on a waiting list for some facet block injections to help kill the pain. Unfortunately the wife and I had to move to Las Vegas Nv. and I was unable to get the needed injections in Fl. When I came to Nv. My new Va Dr., sent me to the pain clinic and they put me through all the X rays again and said that I will not be getting the injections the all the doctors requested in Tampa Fl. So here I sit in a lot of pain every day 24-7 and all they want to do is keep me drugged up on morphine and hydra codone. IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME ! with this serious problem ? PLEASE !I don't want to die this young ! I cannot afford to see an outside doctor because these injections are to expensive for me. Thankyou America John Mello I can be reached at abys@cox.net
