thetruthdirective.com is my first attempt atbreaking through the invisible barriers seperating casaual bloggers from professional bloggers, but i chose politics as my subject because i'm passionate about political awareness and knew my voice would neverbe heard by the folks on the Hill unless my voice were amplified by the internet and the op4ensource blogging platyform known as wordpress, because of my circumstances. I was born eight weeks premature addicted to crack cocaine and heroin - as a result i can only move one limb under my own power - my left arm and hand - i ended up with a severe case of Cerebral Palsy and as a result traditional 9-5 jobs are not an option for me... but im very computer savvy and have an incredible aptitude and passion for technology and the power of the world wide web. my goal is to use thetruthdirective as a construct to inspire the 18-30 age demographic to political awareness and activism using the internet, because the scope oif our technology no longer limits activism awareness and peaceful law abiding protest to picket signs that no-one ever reads in places folks are likely to be arrested -- like the Mall is D.C. because of the complete evaporation of every civil liberrty americans no longer have claim to thanks to the war on terror and the policy changes made by the bush administration and Congress at large. my hope is to become somethging more than the average disabled person with my level of disability -- to overcome my disability rather than be defined by it, or let it dictate how i live my life. most of all i blog because i want to get off of government welfare -- SSI benefits i receive are simply lipservice that accomplishes the goal few even see, but those behind the scenes have achireved with cold calculated finality - which is to keep me in a state of perpetual financial destitution and thus out of sight and behind a closed door. im not a smart man, but i know a few things aboiut overcoming insurmountable odds - and i happen to be one hell of a writer. therefore, the goal of thetruthdirective is simple - to inspire my age demographic to political action and awareness and earn the money that will break the chains that bind me to a nonexistent future. what i have to say may upset you, but if i inspire you - just once - it was worth the cost of eloquently, passionately, and respectfully breaching the perimeter of your comfort zone
