Thinking Man's Uhuru

Thinking Man's Uhuru

http://thinkinguhuru.wordpress.com/

Uhuru is a Swahili word meaning "Freedom". Too often, Africa has been the victim of stereotypical pity, colonization, unfair trade practices and foreign aid debt. It's time that we free ourselves of what we think Africa can be and start rethinking as well as looking at what all 3rd world countries and the people that live in ( or sadly leave them) need to be self-sufficient and vibrant places and people by valuing their struggles and understanding things from their perspective.
