'94 Astro, 4L60E trans, after adding Lucas trans additive wouldn't shift above 1st unless manually shifted to 2nd, but won't shift higher.(got reverse) After replacing fluid & filter,it shifted fine- for 3 times. 4th time it wouldn't shift 1st day, worked fine 2nd day, wouldn't shift again 3rd day. My mechanic says it might be a solenoid (?)
I have a 2000 dodge dakota 4x4 w/auto trans (4-sp) 4.7 V8. drove home last night, parked it , came out this am truck starts ok but no movement forward or reverse can you help?
