If you are looking for a truly relaxing and peaceful getaway, then Blue Ridge, GA is the place for you. Located only 90 minutes north of Atlanta, Blue Ridge, Ga is in the North GA Mountains and only 10-15 minutes from the TN and NC borders.
Blue Ridge, GA is a quaint little town in the North Georgia Mountains. Take a stroll along Main Street where you will find many antique and specialty shops along with ice cream parlors, and eateries. Allow yourself time to ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway through the beautiful mountains and along the Toccoa River. Carriage rides are also available at the Blue Ridge City Park on weekends. Aska Adventure Wilderness Area is a favorite among hikers and bikers while the Ocoee River is the place to go for tubing, white water rafting and kayaking. Both are located only 10-15 minutes from the Cabin. Also within a 10-15 minute drive enjoy Lake Blue Ridge, the Blue Ridge Marina, Toccoa River and Lake Nottely where you can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, tubing and more!
Two years ago, my husband and I discovered Blue Ridge and truly fell in love with the area. We bought a beautiful 3 bdrm, 3 bath (3 fireplaces and 3 levels) cabin with incredible mountain views and just love our little peace of paradise! We decided on a "bear" theme and named our cabin the "Bears Den Luxury Cabin Retreat."
A local craftsman in Blue Ridge custom made the majority of furniture, everything from the log beds and dressers, kitchen table & log chairs, bar stools, futon, and even a really cute log checker board table and log benches.
The cabin features a romantic setting on the screen porch complete with a wood burning fireplace & hot tub overlooking incredible mountian views by day and bright stars at night! The game room features a custom made cedar top wet bar, pool table, poker table, fireplace, 2 full size futons, satellite TV, DVD and amazing views!
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dish towels, cutlery and even a gas grill is provided for that afternoon BBQ.
