I’M MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GONNA TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!! Such were the immortal words shouted by Howard Beale in the 1976 movie masterpiece ‘Network’… Much like Howard, I guess I’m basically just another guy who gives a damn. A lot of what I say may not be all that political, but hey!… I do believe it’s fairly correct! I believe Australia has been way too fair for its own good and has fallen victim to the misguided belief that the rest of the world actually gives a stuff about what we think! I don’t automatically run with the pack on anything, much preferring to think and speak for myself. I absolutely arbor the flag waving Aussie patriots that fool themselves into believing that we’re the best at everything and that all the rest of the world should be envious of our great abilities and achievements. But I do see the country that I was born in and love being sold out daily without so much of a thought towards the consequences and that’s why I’ve set up this little blog. The main reason is to rattle the cage, most possibly upset a few people, but nonetheless stimulate some active debate and maybe, just maybe… hopefully some good may come out of it! Who knows!
