  • Scammers, Go Away!

Posted on Thursday November 19th, 2009 at 05:18 in crime, web tech

The energy folks put into trying to scam folks out of personal information is amazing. The e-mail below was sent to me with the expectation that I would send my personal information, including the password to my e-mail account. Be very careful if...

  • Stairs or Escalator?

Posted on Wednesday November 18th, 2009 at 13:01 in video

This is a really cool experiment set in Odenplan, Stockholm. How do you think people would react in let’s say…New York City? Are folks in the U.S. too jaded to see the fun in simple things like walking? ...

  • Cuban Blogger Abducted and Assaulted

Posted on Sunday November 8th, 2009 at 08:23 in politics, blogger, web tech

Today’s posts from most bloggers throughout the United States will likely be about the passage of the health care reform bill in the U.S. House of Representatives. I’d planned to write about that also and then I opened an e-mail about the kidnap...

  • Is Rep. Virginia Foxx serious? [VIDEO]

Posted on Tuesday November 3rd, 2009 at 06:14 in politics, video

It is more than a stretch to proclaim the Democrats’ health care bill a greater threat to Americans than terrorists. Has it gotten that bad for the GOP that injecting such fear is perceived as a viable means of persuading the public to support opp...

  • Halloween 2009: Trick or?

Posted on Monday November 2nd, 2009 at 21:46 in Personal, commentary

Saturday night was Halloween. In my neighborhood, Halloween has become much like any other night because kids don’t Trick or Treat door-to-door anymore. Schools have Halloween activities, there’s trick or treating at the malls and some churches...

  • Protect Insurance Companies [VIDEO]

Posted on Wednesday September 23rd, 2009 at 21:28 in politics, business, video, commentary, current affairs

Obama, why? I love this video because it so puts the country’s current state of affairs in proper perspective. Okay, so it’s satire but it’s true. When we stop electing folks who sell out the rest of us we don’t......

Almost forgot.
I'll repost your 11:11 announcement, being very much into Mass Meditation and opportunities for the masses to come together and raise consciousness. Movies like 'What the bleep do we know' have disclosed proof from actual experiments recording crime rates being lowered by meditators who stunned a police chief in Washington with the positive energy they were able to bring to influence the energy in the area.
The more positivity we generate, the better. Thanks for posting that message.

Your blog is fun and insightful.
I enjoyed my visit.
Thanks also for your show of support for the Jena 6.
Real Justice will come, the more a stand is taken for it.
Just-us mentality ain't gonna get it, despite those who claim not to see white privilege. Socially blind people aren't our problem. Let's focus on the intelligent ones who aren't threatened by an equal world, and have respect for underrepresented cultures who have been subjected to colonization and essentially looted for their worth, abused and degraded.
It's time we rise in our glory again healing after many attempts by those threatened by our original roots who have done much to sabotage the progress of people of color (all people of color), and stand with those who can appreciate a diverse world.

I am sickened by the false outrage at the treatment of the "Jena 6". To equate three nooses hanging from a tree to a six on one beating is absurd. These boys should be punished severely. How would any one of you bleeding hearts react had this been your child? Say you get a phone call from the school saying that 6 boys had beaten your son into unconsciousness. Would you be so quick to defend them? I don't think so! Shame on you all. You make a mockery of the real civil rights movement in defending these punks.
