View from the Passenger Window
http://passengerview.blogspot.com/
I have been travelling in the US since a little over the past three months. But unlike my other travels, here I have been the perennial passenger and get driven around wherever I have to go. So as I sit in the passnenger seat of the car I started taking pictures to prevent myself from falling asleep. Here are the pictures posted from my numerous short and long journeys in the passenger seat.

Some wonderful looking photos from stunning locations. Very nice content. The site is a little basic but this means its easy to read, absorb and navigate.

This site is called "View from the Passenger Window". The author tells us in his header blurb that he has been traveling in the US for about three months and being the "perennial passenger" he has taken the opportunity to take pictures instead of "falling asleep". Well as we all know the first thing I look at is if the title of the site matches the intent of the content. Let's take a look. The site contains a wide variety of photos and video shorts that were taken in various parts of the US. Countryside "nature shots", Interesting architecture, city views, events, and even roadkill are but a few of the myriad of interesting photos that await you here. What I found interesting about this site not just the pictures themselves but the eyes that found the shots worthy of taking in the first place. By looking at the photos contained here you will get an honest straightforward look into how someone from another country views America. The author provides us with a running commentary providing comparisons and observations between his native culture and that of the US. In one photo he seems amused at seeing a television antenna atop a building "In this day and age of HDTV and Blueray" in another he snaps a shot of trash along a railroad stating, "Trash along the railway tracks is quite normal in US too". It is common to take ones homeland for granted. A visit to this site may lead you to take a fresh look at the world around you and realize the wonder in the everyday things that you may never have given a second thought to. This site is well balanced to the eye and very easy to navigate. In true Blog fashion, there are no blaring ads trying to sell you this or that. All in all a great site that is definitely be worth the price of admission and may even give you the gift of gratitude.
