Violet's Art Blog

http://violetsartblog.blogspot.com/

I am a professional studio artist from New London, MN. I am also a mother of two teens and a wife of a pastor.

I stay pretty busy and am many times pulled in quite a few different directions. It seems to me having a blog is just one more thing to do, but I am hoping it will help me to be accountable in getting at least one painting completed every week. I would love to do the 'painting a day' kind of blog, but know at this point in time that is a bit too ambitious.

I have started Whimsical Daydreamin' News and will post that and other info from time to time.

  • The Smell of Coffee is in the Air

Today the breeze was perfect to carry the smell of fresh-cut hay through our windows. I had to stop what I was doing and breath in the fresh scent. Hmmm, I love that smell! As a kid I knew it always meant hot, hard work. In spite of that, I enjoyed t...
