Are you tired of the non-discussion of real issues by the TV networks and the lies and the often unchallenged distortions of the facts by the candidates and their campaigns? Join our campaign to tell the media to do their job and STOP THE BULL! Send the message below to people you know and to the networks.

Please send the following message to the networks and encourage other concerned citizens to do so. Together we can make a difference in the quality of news we are getting. If we all use the same subject line it may get their attention.

Subject: Tell the media: STOP THE BULL!

To ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News:

We are outraged and you should be ashamed! Our country faces great challenges, and you aren't doing your job to inform and educate us, the American people. We need a media that encourages reasoned, factual, and civil discussion of the issues we face and the choices we must make about health care, the economy, foreign policy, the environment, retirement programs, and education. What we do about these issues will determine the future for our children, our country, and the world. Instead you waste our time on phony issues and emotionally charged distractions like the lipstick on a pig fiasco and allow the lies, distortions, and half truths of the candidates and their lackeys to go unchallenged. By your silence and your complicity in the face of such manipulative political tactics, you help to fan the flames of the culture wars and encourage the partisanship and ideological extremism that are undermining our democracy and preventing us from dealing effectively with our problems. We need you, the media, to help us make rational (not ill informed, emotional ) choices by focusing on the real issues; telling us where the candidates stand on those issues; and, perhaps most importantly of all, critically investigating and reporting the facts as opposed to the spin. STOP THE BULL!

It seems fairly evident that the perspective of 'character' is drastically changing as time goes by - or at least the percentages of the population that agree on the importance of character is and/or what character really is. The politicians have proven they do not share many of the same priorities/ideals of politicians of the past (except during election speeches).

Given this, it's not surprising that the elements of like-interests should not be aligned with the general population (which is now the 'working poor'). Combined with the depleted values of many social characteristics (education, production[GNP], living standards, etc) that we have lost our perspective too in relation to how equipped we are to deal with real issues.

Unfortunately i see us reaping what we've sewn... we now have politicians that reflect our moral decay - no character and living for instant gratification or at least for the most depraved pleasure that will not affect their public approval rating.

We made this video because we are afraid our election is going to be rigged like in Pakistan and Kenya.
