Jules, this is in answer to your question: The song "Black" as sung by Eddie Vedder lies almost entirely from A below middle C to E above middle C - which is accessible for a lyric baritone - and is comfortable for a tenor.

and the best way to practice singing with
a metronome, are you
suppose to sing each word on every click?, every other click? what?...thank you

I want to know what key or range Eddie Vedder sings in for the tune "Black" by Pearl Jam because it is very comfortable for me to sing but I don't know how to describe it or to write songs in that range. Thanks!
