People should find a way to volunteer in some manner, but mainly outside of the United States. Americans are so fortunate and do not realize the poverty that is present in other countries until they experience it. When someone sees a child starving, one cannot just look at that child and let him continue suffering, but he had an obligation to help him. Also when people travel abroad to help third world countries, Americans are given a better vision, rather than the snobby, self-absorbed, rich people. With every person in the US volunteering, we could change the world.
