Our USA office is located in D.C., and I am very aware of the wonderful activities and programs carried out by the WHS, especially due to my friend Anissa Grossman, who is a Board Member.
The Washington Humane Society has served DC-area animals in need since 1870. No call for help goes unanswered at our open access shelters. Our goal is to reach 100% placement of adoptable animals by 2010; we call it the Good Home Guarantee. The WHS blog highlights our progress towards this objective.

Animal World USA is pleased to announce exciting news about the 1st Annual Washington DC Week for the Animals, which will kick off Saturday, May 30th and run through Sunday, June 7th, 2009.
