Sharon,
You write amazing poetry. It is realistic, haunting. You beautifully capture the angst of sexual abuse...Your poems are beautiful, with exquisite metaphors, poignant, heart-breaking, infuriating, sad, wistful, honest, real, in essence, leaving my heart breaking as I exit the pages, yet touched by truth, "telling," dignity, reclaiming one's own body, soul, heart, and spirit for its personhood, value, sweetness, innocence, and worth despite how much sickness, loss, pain, rejection, or evil have perpetrated, harmed, defiled, devastated, demeaned, or discarded.
Such a job well-done, indeed not just a "job" but a work-of-art--and a sacrifice-of-heart. Thank you. And thank you for sharing.
May God bless you,
Angie
