  This is the current progress on my Scott Weiland painting. Should be on the home run stretch. The jacket in the painting took me about 5 to 6 hours due to all the layering. I'm enjoying this painting and it was great digging out the old stone temple ...

  Haven't posted in a while. Life's been keeping me plenty busy. So here the progress on the Weiland painting. The face is the hardest part and usually takes the longest on the painting so the rest of the painting should move right along....

  Back to the grunge paintings. This painting is going to be of Scott Weiland the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots or STP. He has also done a few solo albums and was with the band Velvet Revolver. It took me forever to find the perfect reference mate...

  Here is the finished painting. The painting is done in acrylic and the size is 24 x 36 inches. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I delivered the painting for the Children in its Landscape contest this afternoon at the Good Girl Art Gallery in Spring...

  Here's the update on my painting in progress. I just finished painting the baby and should be able to finish the airplane and touch up some areas tomorrow....

  Just finished painting the teddy bear so here's an update. Next I'll start painting the baby....
